Ken Cotter is an established Irish singer-songwriter, born in Cork City, and now living in East Cork. Over the last decade Ken has toured extensively around Ireland and Europe.

Ken began performing his own material around West Cork and Cork City during the early to mid 90's, and also played with a three piece acoustic ensemble called The Cats Back!, before deciding to base himself in England where, for the next few years he lived, performed and ultimately recorded his first solo CD, "Blue Letter Day". Ken became a regular visitor to venues like the Exchange bar in Exeter and the Twelve Bar Club in London. He also began playing in Singapore where he has built up a loyal following over the last seven years and where he continues to entertain audiences today.

Ken returned to Ireland in 1999 where he continued to pursue his goal of creating excellent songs and music, and to bring these to as wide and varied an audience as possible. During this time he played support to Irish singer-songwriters Kieran Halpin and Kevin Doherty ( Four Men and a Dog ), the Hothouse Flowers, and Eleanor McEvoy in the Savoy Theatre, Cork, as well as playing his own headline gigs, especially in The Lobby, Cork, De Barras, Clonakilty, and Declan MacCarthy's, Baltimore, the former voted recently by the Sunday Tribune as one of the six best venues in Ireland for music (and the latter sadly recently closing its doors for the last time).

Over the past couple of years Ken has been recording a selection of his songs in BPM studios in Douglas, Cork, and recently in Freedom Creative Studios in Middleton. He has recruited some of Corks premier talent to help realise his goal of creating a representative album of his songs.
